A skirt is a privilege of a lady; or maybe a medieval Scotsman if it’s a kilt. And sometimes even a modest skirt can reveal too much, even if we do buy dozens of wholesale womens skirts. You don’t want to show too much skin or regions no one outside you and your partner should see! Even if you’re cautious and ensure that your skirt doesn’t go up sometimes, you still might be harassed. And some aggressive people can actually cause this - some might be mischievous kids, but some can be real perverts with smartphones! It’s horrible! And these are the reasons why I have decided to write this guide to avoiding upskirts.
A safer option is a longer skirt or a dress. With every inch of length the odds of revealign too much decrease significantly. If you can sit down and stand up without fear that the person opposite you sees something they shouldn’t? And if you lift something with your knees, does the skirt raise a little bit? Remember, a modest skirt covers you in all the poses. So even knee-length skirt can be too short! That's why every retailers sells dozens of wholesale womens skirts in all sizes.
If the weather is very windy, your skirt should not only be longer - but tighter. On a very windy day they can blow up and thus be very difficult to manage. Try wearing a more tight or fitted skirt. Some women can weight down the bottom hem using pebbles, magnetic tape and similar items.
You can also wear an extra layer under the skirt to lessen the paranoia: a slip, a pair of shorts or bike shorts, or opaque pantyhose. Especially in the winter you should put on a nice pair of leggings. It might look funny but my friend Roma always smooths out her skirt whenever she sits down. She always crosses her legs when sitting down in a train - just to be on the safe side. And if she sits down on a flat surface, she always double-checks if anyone’s arround, whenever she gets up.
And remember, if anyone tries to “get a peek”, it’s not flirt, it’s sexual harassment and it’s a crime in many places! Report them and get people’s attention!
